Dresden Central Station
Dresden Central Train Station Dresden Hauptbahnhof, or Dresden Hbf, is the city's largest passenger station. Located on the southern edge of Dresden, Dresden Hbf is 15-25 minutes walk from the historic old town. Formerly known as Böhmischen Bahnhof ("Bohemian Station"), it was built as the city's central station in 1898, separating Saxony from Bohemia. Since these gleis/platforms don't offer many amenities, you're best advised to make use of the shops and cafes on and around the main entrance hall; many of which are visible from the main entrance. |
